How do I run a report (an as Instructor) to see students that have not completed enrollment documentation?

Objective: Students have time before the start of a course to provide prerequisite documentation.  If the student has not sent in their paperwork, the Genius system logs it.  To view these logs, run the 'External Files - Required Documents - Missing or Denied' report.

Run this report to see which students are missing required documents, halting the student from enrolling in a course.

Answer

1. Log into the genius SIS system

2. Make sure you are logged in as an INSTRUCTOR (see linked FAQ for information to switch account roles)

3. At the bottom of the left-hand menu, select the option called ‘Reports’

4. A larger drop-down menu appears, select the option called ‘Run Report’

5. The Select a Report page will appear, use the drop-down menu to select the report titled ‘External Files – Required Documents – Missing or Denied’

6. Choose the blue ‘Run Report’ button

7. This will bring up a list of every student name and account that has a missing document, preventing them from completing enrollments

8. Search for the required content using any of the search parameters at the top of the list to find what document(s) a particular student is missing, stopping them from fully enrolling.
